Hawaii islands - Oahu

Introduction to Oahu

Among the most popular islands is Oahu, often known as “the Heart of Hawaii”. Here you can experience Waikiki, Hawaii’s most famous beach and arguably one of the most well-known beaches in the world. The sightseeing and recreational options are almost limitless here, with everything from sports, dining, shopping and accommodations. Sightseers will also appreciate a couple of Waikiki’s most famous landmarks, the Punchbowl military cemetery and Diamond Head.

Head south to Honolulu, the largest city in Hawaii, and enjoy the cultural and urban flavor offered by the island’s economic and cultural centre.

Once you leave the city behind, you can get back into nature courtesy of Oahu’s gorgeous environments. The landscape boasts a menagerie of sights including rainforests, valleys, canyons, coral-reefs, waterfalls and mountain ranges.
